Mario first appeared in 1981 in Donkey Kong. Since then he has appeared in over 200 games and whilst I haven't played anywhere close to all of them, I have loved playing his games on SNES, DS, N64 and the Wii.

Always taxing, always brilliant and family friendly.

This is pre-loved, fully tested, no DLC.

Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games is a crossover sports game released for the Wii in 2011. The game features beloved characters from Nintendo’s Mario franchise and Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog series, who come together to compete in various Olympic events set in London. It offers a mix of real-world Olympic sports like athletics, swimming, and gymnastics, as well as unique "Dream Events," which take familiar Olympic sports and infuse them with fantasy elements from the Mario and Sonic universes. The game emphasizes family-friendly multiplayer fun, allowing up to four players to compete against each other in a wide range of events.

The game utilizes the Wii's motion controls, making events more interactive as players swing, shake, or tilt the Wii Remote to perform actions like running, swimming, or shooting. Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games also includes both single-player and multiplayer modes, offering a variety of gameplay options, including a Party Mode with mini-games. The game was well-received for its engaging gameplay, bright visuals, and the nostalgic appeal of seeing Mario and Sonic characters compete together, continuing the successful partnership between Nintendo and Sega.
